Enabling AvaTax
Enable Avatax Sales Tax in AccountingSuite™.
Avalara Settings Page in AccountingSuite™
- Navigate to Quick Menu → Settings → Sales Tax.
- Check the Yes checkbox next to Do you charge Sales Tax?
- Choose Avalara as the Sales Tax Calculation Method.
- Enter your Avalara account number and network key. See Obtaining an Avalara account for more information. In the Network URL field enter https://avatax.avalara.net/
- Enter the company ID given to you when you enrolled.
- Enter Default Tax codes for Shipping and Miscellaneous items if desired (see Adding Tax Codes below).
