How to Get a Customer Address Report Grouped by City

The universal report is a powerful tool. It has lots of options and to learn how to use it, it's best to use a real life example. 
  1. Navigation: Reports → Accounting → Universal Report
  2. In the first dropdown, choose Catalog.
  3. In the second drop down, choose Addresses / Contact.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Click the Indicators tab and uncheck fields you don’t need.
  6. To create filter to show only customers. click the Filters tab
  7. Click Add.
  8. Expand Owner.
  9. Choose the Customer field.
  10. In the comparison type field choose Equals to.
  11. In the value field, choose Yes.
  12. To get the customers grouped by city, click the Grouping tab,
  13. Click Add.
  14. Choose City from the list of fields.
