I'm not getting a prompt to enter my security code in Cloud Banking

I don't have any new transactions from my bank in several days.  What is happening?

You may need to try a manual refresh.    Look near the Last Refreshed Date for a message.   If it says Manual refresh needed, click the refresh button on the command bar.
If there is another message, read it and take any action suggested and then try and refresh.   If it still fails, call us or open a ticket with our support team and we will investigate.

Ok, so why do I have to manually refresh?

Some banks require additional authentication credentials (called Multi-factor authentication, or MFA) beyond an ID and password, which increases security.     One of the methods used is to sent you a text message with a security code in it.    Because this code is different every time, you need to be present when the transactions get refreshed because only you get that code.    In certain cases, you may have to manually refresh every time you want to get new transactions.

Can I turn off MFA?

You will need to contact your bank to make adjustments to your security requirements.   Some banks may offer MFA as an option and some may require it.

How come some of my banks refresh and some do not?

Each bank has their own security requirements and may operate differently and have different requirements.  Multi-factor authentication comes in several different flavors, some will ask you to answer security questions, some will text you a code to enter and some require a token from an authentication device.    Some even require more than one additional authentication method.   Although it can be a pain to have to manually refresh to get your transactions downloaded, this security practice greatly increases the security of your bank account.

I'm not receiving a place to enter the code I just received while logging in.

If this happens to you, please contact support and we can make an adjustment so that you do get the form to enter your code.
