New Features



Redesigned User Interface which results in Faster Loading and Application Performance



AccountingSuite™ has a new User Interface!


We are continuing to redesign AccountingSuite™'s User Interface with a more modern and efficient layout for a better and faster user experience.


Your day-to-day operations are now much easier! We have enabled menus and submenus to be more intuitive - with less clicks and navigating for faster on-the-fly tasks.


Phase 2: Lists and Selection Screens

This User Interface redesign for Entlebucher 1 includes the new and improved command bar for all lists in AccountingSuite™ (Item, Companies, etc.) and Selection Screens from Documents. Buttons have been replaced with links - some of them are now drop downs with additional options.


New Command Menus and Options


All Lists have been redesigned!


Here are some examples of some extremely cool features:


Greater functionality! When you open an existing item in the list, it opens in a separate tab --- you can now switch back and forth to the list and can open multiple items in separate tabs for analysis and comparisons.



"Customer and Vendor Central" --- Now, each company will open in its own tab, when you double-click from the list. This new feature will open up a whole new world of possibilities and flexibility when analyzing customer and vendor data.


NOTE: In AccountingSuite™, Company "Types" can be a Customer and a Vendor in the same Company "card"  - (Type: Cust, Vend, C/V - with C/V being both).









Right-clicking on line items enables users to open menus and accomplish tasks faster than ever!

NOTE: The same options appear in the "More Actions" menu.





Here you can see all the Transactions for this Company in one list!






The Transactions Tab will show for that specific Company's Transactions and the tab will be labeled with that Company's Name.




In the "Show" drop down menu there are links to the Transactions, General Journal (when applicable), Inventory Journal  (when applicable), Recurring Templates and now the Audit Log.



 



Another great new feature in the redesigned User Interface is the "Columns" drop down menu. Here you can now customize forms with the first selection choice - the "Manage Columns" feature. All the Available Fields are presented for you to decide if you want to see them in your form - it is totally customizable!

NOTE: This is now the replacement for "Change Forms" where users previously Managed Columns and Configured list to Add Fields and create customized views.


Steps:

  1. Click on the "Columns" icon
  2. Click "Manage Columns"
  3. Click "Show Available Fields"




The "More actions" menu on the far right of the screen now has more consistent feature options, including search, columns and flexible setting controls.

NOTE: These same features are accessible via right-click as mentioned above.




AccountingSuite™ now has Faster Application Performance!


We've listened to your feedback and have been re-working the application framework.


We have enabled AccountingSuite™'s pages to load faster and now have performance monitoring capability for our technical teams.


Phase 1 is complete:
  • We have optimized AccountingSuite™'s features to load faster to save you time.
  • Our technical team, now has a newly implemented performance monitoring capability for 24/7 monitoring and the ability to smooth out usage spikes.


 Bill.com Matching and Syncing Improvements

AccountingSuite™'s Cloud Payables functionality and seamless matching integration with Bill.com:                                                                                                                                                 

  • More flexible Date import 
  • Ability to match and handle the Bill.com Chart of Account type "Unspecified"
  • Improved syncing the "State" in Vendor Address
  • Category 1099 in Chart of Accounts
  • Overall improvement of error ​messages                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

And more new features:

  

    • Changed Names. We have renamed the Project report, which is now called Project Financials; and we have renamed the voiding payment function from Void Check to Void Payment.
    • Self Guided Error Handling. We have created better options for you to fix Ship Station errors within the error message. 
    • Reduced Clutter. When the Sales Order has a zero discount amount it's now hidden.



Fixes
  • Using the Multi-item Inventory Adjustment now requires the user to choose a Location on initial setup, so for the user this requires less data entry.
  • Sales tax address is now pre-populated when generated from a previous document.
  • Rounding errors pre-populating from previous documents is now fixed.




Please Note: As a reminder, there is some new terminology that comes along with the new User Interface:


Former "Post and Close" and "Post" buttons ---- now are "Save"

These buttons have all been consolidated into one drop down link with the following options:

  • Save and Close - this will save (formerly known as post) and close the document.
  • Save and New -  this option Saves (and posts) the document, closes it, and opens a new one for editing.
  • Save - will Save the document which will remain on the screen for further editing or reviewing.
  • Save a Draft - Saves a draft, an incomplete document. No figures will be posted to the General Ledger with a draft document.
