How To Integrate AccountingSuite with EazyBI


Please create a New Data Source on EazyBI using the below steps. You will need to create separate data sources for Daily Snapshots and Financial Performance.

In the example below, we will use Daily Snapshots as Data Source.

1. Select Add new source application on Source Data tab.


2. Select REST API as the new source application.


3. Click on Create.


On REST API Source Parameters screen:

  1. Source Data URL:  Replace {account_number} in below URL with your AccountingSuite Account Number.
  2. We provide 2 optional parameters for entering the period. The date format is yyyyMMdd – four digit year, two digit month (from 01 to 12) and two digit day (from 01 to 31). https://apps7.accountingsuite.com/a/%7Baccount_number%7D/hs/data_mart/daily_snap/?BeginOfPeriod=20170615&EndOfPeriod=20170629
  3. Skip SSL Certificate verification: Leave this unchecked.
  4. Pagination: Select “No Pagination” option.
  5. Authentication Type: Select “Username & password”
    Username: Your username for the AccountingSuite Account.
    Password: Your password for the AccountingSuite Account.
  6. Content Parameters: JSON.
  7. Regular Import Frequency: We recommend to use Default (every day).
  8. Click Continue.


4. On Source Column Mapping page, pls refer to our Column Mapping page to enter Data Type, Dimension, Level or Measure, etc.


5. Click on Start Import button when ready and then confirm by clicking OK.


6. Wait to make sure the Status column shows Imported.


7.  Follow the EazyBI tutorials to create your own Dashboard.
