Navigation Changes!

We will be introducing some navigational changes in AccountingSuite™ that we hope will make your life easier.  The main menu items have remained the same, but what's underneath has changed.     Each of the module menu items contains up to five sections: Documents, Lists,  Reports, Tools and Settings.  The Quick menu has changed into a Quick Create menu.    And all of your lists are in one place - the Lists Menu.

The new menu is listed below, in order of appearance .    You may not see all of these menus as some are dependent on the edition of the software you are using. 

Quick Menu

The Quick Menu is being transformed into an easy way to create the most widely used documents.   Easily create any document by clicking the title in the Quick Menu.   Companies have been split with Customers in the Sales area and Vendors in the Purchases Area.   Makes sense, no?   Cloud Banking is now in the Bank Section.   A screenshot of the new menu is below. 



Support

Next in line is the Support Menu, which used to be at the bottom.   This menu has links to all sorts of helpful resources when you have questions or get stuck. 

  1. Use the Idea Exchange to let us know what you'd like to see in the software and vote on other ideas that have been submitted.  We're only a click away if you need us - 100% Human Support!

  3. Read the knowledgebase and view how-to videos.
  4. Access training classes.
  5. Explore our Developer Ecosystem.

Admin Panel

Below Support is the Admin Panel.    Here you can access all of the module settings and useful tools including the Startup Wizard, Auto-numbering, Data Import, Beta Preview, Extensions among others.  Set permissions and roles for users or create new ones in Security Settings (formerly User list in Lists, and more great security features will be added here!).  Also now here is our powerful Universal Report!

Lists

The Lists are all grouped in the next section.   Lists are anything you can find in a drop-down menu.  Add classes, projects, payment terms, items, locations, units, price levels - if it's a list, you can add it here. 



Bank

The Bank Menu contains all of the bank related documents like Bank Transfers,  Deposits and Reconciliations.  It also includes access to your  Cloud Banking accounts and Bank related Reports, Settings and Tools like Categorization Rules.  You can bank on it!  Remember, the Create Menu has been moved to the Quick Menu.


Accounting

Chart of Accounts, Budgets, Journal Entries and the Batch Reclass Tools lives here.  Also here are the financial reports and Accounting related lists.


Reports

This section brings all of the available reports together in one place.  Also here:  Dashboard reports, graphs and charts.


Project & Time

Time tracking, Projects and the Profitability Matrix live here.

Sales 

Sales Documents, Lists, Reports, Tools and Settings.


Sales Tax

Sales Tax Documents, Lists and Reports.



Purchases

Purchase Documents, Lists, Reports, Tools and Settings.
